About The Role

At WWT, we believe that the best way for people to understand and ‘connect’ with wetlands is to experience them, so we bring awe-inspiring nature up close.  We shape children’s unforgettable experiences through the warm welcome we give them, our interactions with them and the information that we provide. With 12,500 learners visiting per year, there’s a lot of admin work that happens behind the scenes! This admin is essential for making sure that visits are successful and inspire learners with the wonder of wetlands. In order to help with this admin work we’re seeking an enthusiastic volunteer with computer skills who is able to support with dealing with school booking enquiries and communications before and after to make sure visits run smoothly. As a member of the Learning team you'll also have the opportunity to see our award-winning programmes in action.

Volunteers are an essential part of the WWT team. You'll get a warm welcome, including information on training, equipment and anything else you need.

If you are interested in volunteering for WWT but don't wish to apply online, please email [email protected] or leave a message at 01453 891 231 with your name and number.
