A rare and exciting opportunity to be part of a vital team working within the wider Fundraising, Marketing and Communications department at this internationally renowned wetland conservation charity. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced and detail focussed executive to support the Legacy Development Manager with a range of activities to inspire support and maximise income. Legacy giving is vital to WWT, generating 1 in every £5 of income.
Working directly with colleagues across the Trust to engage supporters in the value of legacy giving through a programme of stewardship activities. Day to day you'll be responsible for legacy case work and donations, ensuring compliance and excellent supporter care and communication, whilst also offering an approachable, professional first point of contact. You'll be involved in event management and delivery, complex administrative tasks utilising our CRM, data and systems projects as well as a host of other tasks. It's a varied role - no two days are the same. You'll have opportunities to build skills across specialist fundraising and administrative functions as well as delving into creative marketing, event management, communications, supporter care and more! You'll be conscientious and confident to communicate in lots of different environments. You'll be self-driven but team-focussed, working in a small team of 2 with the support of the wider Supporter Development team.
It's an exciting time at WWT with lots of development and change - we're looking for someone who thrives in busy environments and knows that people, especially our supporters, always come first.
This is a full time position working 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday. The role is suitable for hybrid working, with an expectation of at least 2 days in the office in Slimbridge each week. There will be occasional travel to other WWT sites so a current driving licence would be advantageous. Due to the nature of the role, occasional evening and weekend work may be required but will be agreed well in advance.
