WWT Slimbridge has the largest collection of the charity’s centres, and we lead the way, bring life and inspire connection. This exciting opportunity has arisen to oversee our renowned ectotherm collection. Home to a large and diverse collection of amphibians and fish, Toad Hall is a highlight for Slimbridge visitors and includes a large number of Caudata species, a substantial temperate collection and rarities such as Lake Titicaca frogs.
Behind the scenes, the collection has a well maintained breeding facility where several rare species are maintained.
The Ectotherm collection is key in delivery our wetland message and is a huge engagement asset in showcasing important wetland habitats.
