We are looking for confident, outgoing individuals to assist with operating our Canoe Safari Trail.
You will be engaging with and instructing our visitors to ensure they have an unforgettable experience whilst hiring a canoe on a self-paddled 1km trail through our nature reserve. All training will be provided to take card payments, assist visitors with fitting buoyancy aides and helping them in and out of canoes. You will also assist with some vegetation management along the trail and help look after the play area including litter picking. A practical can do attitude is highly sort after.
You don’t need to know how to paddle a canoe, we are happy to show you, what is really important to us is your ability to deliver great customer service and ensure that our visitors have an amazing time.
Our hours are 11am – 4pm, weekends and school holidays (28th March until the end of October 2026) Weather dependent.
This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays.
