An exciting job opportunity has arisen to join our team at Martin Mere Wetland Centre as a Casual Trading Assistant. We are looking for a versatile individual to become an integral part of an inspirational and vibrant trading environment.
You will be responsible for assisting in all retail and catering areas as required:
- giving a warm welcome to every visitor in the visitor centre, admissions area, shop and café, demonstrating exceptional standards of customer service
- serving visitors at the till purchasing goods from the shop or café, this will include taking orders, making hot drinks as well as serving our seasonal menu and clearing tables
- helping in the kitchen, ensuring you maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
- supporting our visitors at admissions with entry, membership and a warm welcome to our wetlands.
This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays.
