Whilst this post is based at our WWT Slimbridge site the role is able to work in a hybrid way. Travel to our 10 Wetland Centres around the UK will be necessary from time to time, to understand our ways of working and work alongside people to evolve our people practices and to attend meetings as required.
This role supports our colleagues in Cambodia and Madagascar as well as the UK. We understand that most applicants will not have experience of employment practices in those countries. If you have good UK employment law and payroll experience, we believe we can help you learn the rest.
A current driving licence is essential as is willingness to travel to other WWT locations, staying away from home as and when required. We do not expect this role to travel outside of the UK, unless mutually agreed.
At WWT we believe that everyone should be able to come to work, volunteer or support our organisation as their full selves. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where diversity and difference is valued. We welcome applications from everyone who meets the criteria and strongly encourage individuals who are under-represented in the environmental and charity sectors to apply.
