WWT Madagascar is looking to strengthen its team by recruiting a web designer to support the development and implementation/enhancement of an interactive Wetlands Data Portal by assisting in web platform design and implementation, data integration, user experience improvement (user- friendly interface), and technical documentation.
The main functions of this post are to:
- Assist in the design of the data portal as part of a small team of technical specialists from WWT and government stakeholders
- Work to support external consultants with the website build
- Lead on maintenance, administration and running of the site, including problem solving and user feedback, until it is handed over to government partners to manage
This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's leading charities working to promote the wise use of wetlands and wetland biodiversity, as part of a dynamic and growing team in Madagascar but with support from WWT experts in the UK.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package and working conditions, and the opportunity to help shape the WWT Madagascar Programme as it grows in scope and ambition to help protected and restore wetlands and unlock their powers!
This is a full time, fixed term contract for 2 years, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
