We are looking for a Trading Supervisor who thrives in a friendly team environment, embraces change, and is eager to develop our catering and retail operations at Castle Espie Wetland Centre.
Working closely with the Trading Manager, you will:
- Motivate our team to provide a warm welcome to all our visitors sharing the wonder of wetlands and how to make the most of their visit.
- Promote and maximise sales opportunities and develop our retail range.
- Ensure that the admissions, retail, and catering areas, operate smoothly and fully adhere to and comply with all legislative standards, in particular Industry Food Hygiene standards.
- Ensure that functions and special events are delivered to a high standard.
This is a great opportunity to work surrounded by nature within a predominantly daytime operation. Castle Espie is just a short drive from Comber and easily commutable from Newtownards, Belfast and Bangor.
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. Working 5 days out of 7, including some weekends and bank holidays. Typically daytime shifts although, you may be required to work the occasional evening for a special event or function.
